Afternoon Tea...

Last Sunday saw us up at Heath Cottage Wedding Fair, where we had a stand and our vintage crockery was used in the afternoon tea room...



You had the choice of a slice of cake or one of these gorgeous cup cakes with a cup of lovely yorkshire tea, served in our pretty vintage china cups

Or you could have "high tea" which consisted of  finger sandwiches and mini cream cakes served on our 3 tier china cakestands, all with a cup of tea of course

Every commented on the crockery and said how much better tea tasted out of "proper" china cups

Cakestands Galore!!

We have single china cake stands, double tier, three tier, all made with our fair hands (well actually chris's) I just chose which should go together ;)




We have a great selection of single tier glass stands, together with crystal trifle dishes, the ones shown here are what I inherited from my late grandma, they bring back happy memories of childhood Christmases when the table would be laden with tons of yummy things to eat, her sherry trifle was to die for.




And you don't even have to use them for cupcakes or sandwiches, they would look equally amazing stacked with favours and used for table centrepieces.
