Just had to share these gorgeous vintage milk churns we now have to hire at Saddleworth Shindigs. They look stunning filled with tall flowers like these gladiolas shown here, but look fabulous with wild flowers such as foxgloves and cow parsley. They are just perfect for a vintage style country wedding.

Imagine these either side of your church door or wedding venue they would make an impressive

 impact to your guests.

Vintage China Hire

Last week we were busy boxing up vintage china teacups, saucers and dinner plates enough for 75 people for Thomas and Lucie's wedding on the 4th September.



Here are the boxes with all the teapots in, Lucie wanted 20 vintage china teapots which she was using as vases on the tables.



We were in awe of their wedding venue, Whalley Abbey, in the Ribble Valley.



The grounds were breathtakingly beautiful...

Cakestands Galore!!

If you are looking to have a vintage wedding or shabby chic style wedding, or just a good old afternoon tea get together, then these gorgeous cake stands will definitely be up your street.



We have single china cake stands, double tier, three tier, all made with our fair hands (well actually chris's) I just chose which should go together ;)




We have a great selection of single tier glass stands, together with crystal trifle dishes, the ones shown here are what I inherited from my late grandma, they bring back happy memories of childhood Christmases when the table would be laden with tons of yummy things to eat, her sherry trifle was to die for.




And you don't even have to use them for cupcakes or sandwiches, they would look equally amazing stacked with favours and used for table centrepieces.

♥ French Enamel Jugs ♥

We have just received back some of our Vintage French Enamel Jugs which were used for a wedding in the Lakes.

Whilst they were out I thought I'd get some piccies done to show on our website Saddleworth Shindigs.



As you can see they come in all different shapes and sizes.




From gorgeous large round ones...

The one in the middle is my fave...

Candelabras For Hire

Whilst the weather was dry on Sunday, I took the opportunity of photographing some of the taller candelabras we have to hire at Saddleworth Shindigs.

I can't tell you how much fun, Pat,my gorgeous mother-in-law (you'll no doubt be hearing a lot about her as she is such a big help and inspiration to me) and I had dressing the candelabras up and then displaying them in her beautiful garden.

Here's a just few of the ideas we came up with:-

There are so many other things you can do, crystal always looks lovely near candles especially at night when the candlelight catches them and makes them twinkle, crystal garlands instead of pearls would look so oppulent.

I think they are just perfect to add romance and glamour to your wedding.
